ベベルサイディング

Characteristics of bevel siding

Western red cedar bevel siding is the most widely used siding type. Re-cutting the wood at a certain angle, one tip is produced by producing thick wood. The manufacturing process gives wood with one side cut. Other aspects are smooth or rough depending on the grade and your preference. Bevel siding is installed horizontally and features an attractive shadow line that varies with the thickness of the siding.

Grades

For bevel siding, clear (no tuft) or knotty (with knotted) grades are available. Clear (uncrossed) siding provides a high quality appearance and is ideal for high quality applications with a sense of quality. Knotti (with knot) siding has warm and casual charm, ideal for homes, cottages, club houses and places where a rustic appearance is sought.

Finger joint bevel siding

Members of WRCLA also sell clear (non-articulated) and knotty (with knotted) grades of finger joint bevel siding. Exactly bonded joints are substantially invisible and are stronger than the surrounding fibers. Finger joint bevel siding is up to 16 feet long and provides a clean appearance and all-weather performance with the best cedar siding. It is highly appreciated by the builders due to convenient length and speed and ease of installation.

Bevel Siding Grading

Clear bevel siding is rated for the use of a smooth surface, except for the grade only for the use of the rough surface “Rustic”.

Clear (no tangle) VG heart material

Clear VG Heart Cedar Siding

This is the finest bevel siding grade. All clear VG core material grades are cut with vertical wood grain (edge grain), the kiln is dried. There is smoothness of corrosion resistant core material in this wood, there is no growth characteristic affecting appearance and performance. This wood is excellent in dimensional stability and is also excellent for holding finish.

Solid wood or finger joints are available.
